The Client

revX builds bespoke lead generation solutions that turn prospects into real customers. They specialise in high-converting paid media campaigns and lead-generation strategies, combining compelling content with precise audience targeting. Their advanced Lead Validation technology ensures quality over quantity by filtering out low-quality leads, optimising sales pipelines, and helping businesses scale smarter.

The Problem

Businesses often face the problem of overwhelming lead volumes that can't be used effectively. Many of these leads are invalid (incorrect contact details), duplicated, or spam submissions. This clutters sales pipelines, wastes resources, and reduces overall campaign ROAS (Return on ad spend).

The Thinking

To address this, revX set out to build a lead validation system that could reliably separate high-quality leads from low-quality ones and provide clients with actionable insights into their pipelines.

The project aimed to design and implement a system that could:

  • Gather leads from multiple sources (social media lead-gen forms, websites, chatbots, etc.).
  • Integrate with third-party platforms for validation.
  • Verify contact details (email and phone) to ensure accuracy and contactability.
  • Automatically send processed leads to clients.
  • Match lead sources to ensure campaigns that provide results (sales) are prioritised
  • Integrate with client CRMs (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Airtable, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Deliver detailed reporting and insights.
  • Ensure data security and compliance.
  • Provide revX with a central management dashboard.

The Build

Octoco partnered with revX to rebuild and enhance their lead validation platform, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and security. Key elements included:

  • Third-party integrations with platforms like Twilio and Clickatell to validate emails and phone numbers.
  • Secure system architecture to protect sensitive personal data.
  • Automated lead processing to gather, clean, and distribute leads in real-time.
